Description of Loading Classes – LOADING STANDARDS

ELD (1 to 1.5 Tonnes)  : Areas which can only be used by pedestrians and pedal cyclists e.g. Footpaths, Gardens  etc.

A-50 (5 Tonnes) : Areas where there is regular light vehicle Movement but no chances of heavy vehicle movement e.g. underground car parks.

B-100(10 Tonnes) : Footways, pedestrian areas and comparable parks or car parking decks where occasional heavy vehicle movement is possible.

C-200 (20 Tonnes) : For gullytops installed in the area of curbside channels of roads or inside townships where regular heavy vehicle movement is expected.
